Fighting Hunger And Malnutrition In India
Every 25 seconds, an under-5 child in India dies of malnutrition and/or infections. The challenges of hunger and malnutrition are very real in India. The weakest victims of this are the marginalized children. Save the Children provides robust health and nutrition plans that help such children get the nourishment they deserve. We train and work with Community Health Workers (CHWs) who form the backbone of our healthcare initiatives. We believe that together we can eradicate these diseases and help children live a healthy childhood.
